Furniture Restoration Course
Restoring furniture can be very beneficial. The once old age furniture that is showing its age can be restored to look like new again. Why buy it new when you can just restore your old sentimental furniture?
Not only will you have furniture that looks like new, you can also buy old furniture from swap meets, restore it and then give it to a relative as a present. The Furniture Restoration Course will teach you how to restore a piece of furniture from start to finish.
Once you've completed the course you will have the skills to restore and polish any sort of wooden furniture, whether it be a small table or a large wardrobe.

- Machining requirements for storing your furniture
- Removing finishes and polishes that may in and on the wood
- Practical workshop - handy hints to help you restore furniture as fast as possible

- Materials required for week 3
Session 3
- De-brief and problem solving to show you what you'll need to do in week 3
- Assembly and surface preparation for finishing your furniture piece
- Hand French Polishing demo & workshop
- Homework assignments
- Materials required for week 4
Session 4
- De-brief and problem solving so you know what to do in week 4
- Progressing with the French Polish finish
- Finishing and waxing your furniture piece
- Materials required for week 5
Session 5
- De-brief and problem solving for week 5
- Finishing and waxing methods
- Post mortem examination of your furniture piece and conclusion of the furniture restoration course.
