may exist in your current bathroom are overcome and preparing in the
correct bathroom design ways.
Course Overview
- Understand the design rules and techniques required to be able
to design a user friendly bathroom. This includes the basic locations of
basins, showers and baths.
- Incorporate accessories such as tapware, basins and towel rails
into the design processes. This also includes making sure you have
enough space for all your desired accessories.
- Understand the importance of preparation when designing your new
bathroom plans. This makes sure you know how to read bathroom plans and
allow for the space of cabinet door movement for example.
- Select different materials such as benchtop surfaces, tiles,
taps and accessories to suit your desired bathroom design and budget.
Depending on how much you can afford, you will have the option of
different accessories in your bathroom.
- Overcome problems in existing bathrooms, such as uneasy opening
cupboards in awkward locations and the movement of the entrance door.
- Utilise space in bathroom of a smaller size, while creating a
user friendly design. In smaller bathrooms size is the biggest problem,
so it isn't usually the best it could be in terms of design. You will
learn how to overcome this to create a user friendly bathroom within a
small area.
- Organise and manage tradespeople successfully while they are
creating your new bathroom design. Lack of communication with
tradespeople is main reason why many designs are not as good as they
could be.
